Do all Adobe credentials mean an image was generated by Firefly?
No. Adobe tools can capture many kinds of creation and editing history. Read the application and recorded AI actions; an Adobe issuer alone does not mean all pixels were generated with Firefly.
When does Firefly add Content Credentials?
Adobe documents automatic credentials for assets whose pixels are fully generated with Firefly. Other editing workflows may have different credential behavior, so inspect the actual export.
What does valid but untrusted mean?
The credential passed the reported integrity check, but the signer was not established as trusted by the configured trust source. A valid signature and trusted authorship are separate questions.
Can Adobe recover credentials missing from my file?
Adobe describes optional cloud storage and a separate recovery experience in Inspect. This viewer reports the submitted file; it does not search Adobe's cloud or claim that missing local data erased all provenance.
Does this viewer edit or remove credentials?
No. It inspects evidence and leaves the submitted asset unchanged. Use the report to understand which records and checks are available.
