Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Completely free for up to 10 images per batch. No signup required, no hidden costs, no credit card needed.
Yes! Our image resizer works on any device with a modern browser including smartphones and tablets. The interface is fully responsive and optimized for mobile use.
We use advanced algorithms to maintain quality. You control the quality setting (10-100%). When downsizing images, some detail loss is unavoidable, but our tool minimizes it significantly to keep your photos crisp and clear.
Select the Percentage tab and use the slider (10-200%) or quick presets (25%, 50%, 75%, 150%). The tool will automatically calculate new dimensions based on your selected percentage.
Yes! Upload up to 10 images and resize them all in one batch. Our tool processes images sequentially to ensure quality and prevent browser memory issues.
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, BMP, GIF, AVIF, and TIFF. You can also convert between formats during the resize process.
100% safe. All processing happens in your browser. Images never leave your device, never uploaded to our servers. Complete privacy guaranteed.
Yes! Use our social media presets for Instagram (1080x1080, 1080x1920), Facebook (1200x630), Twitter (1200x675), LinkedIn (1200x627), Pinterest (1000x1500), and YouTube (1280x720).
Toggle the "Lock Aspect Ratio" option in the Dimensions tab. When locked, changing width automatically adjusts height (and vice versa) to maintain the original proportions.
Yes! Use the "Download All as ZIP" button after processing to download all resized images in a single compressed file.
To resize images to a specific KB size like 20KB, 50KB, or 100KB, use the percentage or dimension controls and adjust the quality slider. Lower quality settings reduce file size. Start with 50% size and 70% quality, then adjust based on the resulting file size shown in the preview. This iterative approach helps you hit your target KB size.
Our tool resizes images by pixels, which is the standard for digital images. To resize by centimeters or inches, first determine your desired print size and DPI (dots per inch). For example, for a 4x6 inch photo at 300 DPI, you need 1200x1800 pixels (4×300 by 6×300). Enter these pixel dimensions in the Dimensions tab.
Currently, this tool is optimized for image formats (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, BMP, GIF, AVIF, TIFF). For PDF files, you can extract images from PDFs using a PDF converter, resize them with our tool, then reinsert them into your PDF. We are considering adding direct PDF support in the future.
Background removal is not currently available in this image resizer tool. However, you can use dedicated background removal tools first, then use our resizer to adjust the dimensions and file size of your background-free images. We may add this feature in future updates.
To reduce image size in KB while maintaining quality: 1) Use the quality slider set to 85-90% for minimal visible loss, 2) Resize dimensions by 50-75% if the original is larger than needed, 3) Convert to WebP format for better compression, 4) Remove unnecessary metadata. The tool shows file size in real-time so you can find the perfect balance.
For print sizes in CM, convert to pixels using this formula: CM × DPI ÷ 2.54 = pixels. For example, 10cm at 300 DPI = 10 × 300 ÷ 2.54 = 1181 pixels. Standard print DPI is 300 for high quality or 150 for draft. Use our Dimensions tab to enter the calculated pixel values for precise print sizing.
