Pinterest AI Flag & Image Prep
Review Pinterest image metadata, AI labels, and Content Credentials before publishing. No label-bypass guarantee.
This dedicated tool is not available yet. No launch date has been announced.
Understand a Pinterest AI label before editing
Pinterest says its AI labels can come from image metadata, its own classifiers, or a creator disclosure. An EXIF or IPTC review can explain some embedded information, but an empty metadata report does not prove an image was made without AI. Keep your original file and any editing history.
Use the current metadata cleaner for supported fields and review the exported copy before uploading. Check framing, readable text, and the description separately. If a label is inaccurate, Pinterest directs creators to its support team; changing a file here does not appeal or remove an existing label.
Planned tool features
- Inventory supported EXIF, XMP, IPTC, software, and C2PA fields before upload.
- Separate metadata changes from visual classifiers and Pinterest’s own labeling systems.
- Prepare a clean export and a repeatable pre-publish checklist.
Common questions
Can removing metadata bypass a Pinterest AI label?
No reliable bypass can be promised. Pinterest also uses classifiers and creator disclosures, so changing EXIF, IPTC, or other metadata is not a guarantee that a label will change.
Are C2PA Content Credentials the same as a Pinterest label?
No. Content Credentials carry provenance information about a file, while a Pinterest label is a platform decision. Review metadata findings separately from platform outcomes.
